Simple pleasures for breakfast in the shape of two eggs and a bread roll

I'm sure regular readers have realised by now that I do like a proper cooked breakfast every day and today was no exception.

I sat with my morning cuppa contemplating what to have for my breakfast, I usually fridge raid or try to use up what's perishable first.  My choices today were excellent including left over cola gammon from yesterday's supper, the last of my FW dry cure bacon, half a tin of beans from yesterday,  a few mushrooms, the last few of the YS bread rolls and eggs.

I chose to go for a simple, warm and comforting option, a two egg omelette in a soft white roll.  No cheese, herbs, ham or anything other than S&P.  It was so quick, and the warm eggy pillow nestled into the roll warming it and making the whole experience one that felt quite luxurious.

My boiler is now stoked for the day and I can tackle the killer potato in my bay tree pot and teriyaki chicken for supper tonight with gusto. Simple girl that I am.
