Homemade stoneground wholemeal bread, dippy eggs and a ramble

Homemade stoneground wholemeal flour loaf,

better than any Artisan bread we've ever bought

Homemade wholemeal bread, so special.

Himself made a stoneground wholemeal flour loaf last night, it tastes incredible, wheaty and equally as good as any Artisan loaf we've ever bought.   I needed to do it justice and keeping it simple was the
way to go this morning with dippy eggs and toasted soldiers.

There's something so very special about collecting freshly laid eggs from free ranging birds.  The creamy yolks are orangey, the white sits proud and somehow they taste more 'eggy'.

I had the loose covers from our sofa in the washing machine by 08:30 this morning, it's such a nice day.

I'm looking forward to seeing my eldest daughter for some retail therapy (charity shop raiding) later today and then we will come back and I'll make my famous sticky ginger, honey and orange chicken with noodles and a salad.  I'm really looking forward to that!
